Dr Peter Vincent Pry, who served on the National EMP Commission, is Judge Jeanine Pirro’s guest. The topic of discussion is the threat that a possible EMP attack presents to America and our level of preparedness.
Dr. Pry reports that the commission on which he served and which reported to Congress determined that if an EMP, either natural or manmade were to occur, nine out of ten Americans could die within one year. He listed the primary causes as starvation, disease and societal collapse.
That represents a very serious threat. Dr. Pry identifies the United States as being among the least prepared nations and topping the list of most vulnerable due to our dependence upon high technology. He recognized Russia and China as being the best protected nations in the world, due to cold war hardening. He also listed a Sweden, Finland, the UK and Israel as being better prepared.
He thinks that due in part to a government cover-up that we are running out of time.
He also speculates about a possible North Korean involvement in the Metcalf facility attack in San Jose, CA of April, 16, 2013. He theorizes of a possible practice run for a triple-pronged North Korean attack which would have employed EMP, sabotage and cyber attacks.
Dr. Pry says that their definition of cyber attack includes an EMP and is much broader than what we usually think of.
