The land grab in Texas by the BLM will be the greatest government land theft in our history. The government is simply stealing land that is unquestionably private because it can and it is doing so as part of the fundamental transformation of this nation.
There is a lot at stake in this latest land theft by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). It will be done much differently from the last theft of property in Nevada and for far more serious reasons.
The government plans to sue the land owners until they drain them of their funds.
The ranchers are on solid ground in this case – it is their land. Their is no clear reason as to why the BLM is doing this, but one thing is for certain, if these people don’t own the land, no one in this country owns their own land and the government can come in at any time and take it as they can in any Marxist nation in the world.
Last summer, the Bureau of Land Management began holding field hearings about possibly revising regulations on federal holdings in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.
BLM is looking to steal 90,000 acres along the Texas-Oklahoma border that is privately-owned. It’s not like the Bundy case in that this is not government land, it’s land that homeowners have owned and paid taxes on, in some cases since 1804 when Thomas Jefferson was president. They have deeds for the land.
If they don’t own their own land, no one in this country owns their land. The government can steal anyone’s land and you could be next.
Both outgoing Gov. Rick Perry and Gubernatorial hopeful Greg Abbot have condemned the unlawful actions of the BLM.
“If this country’s to stay the land of freedom and liberty, private-property rights must be respected,” Perry said Thursday in an interview with CBS This Morning.
“It’s not a dare, it’s a promise that we’re going to stand up for private property rights in the state of Texas,” Perry said.
